Jing Wang is a painter and illustrator based in Malmö, Sweden. The years of experience as a full-time musician in Beijing have led her to approach visual art the way she understands sound. Her work blends surrealism, humor, and emotional intensity. Through the use of highly saturated colors and exaggerated expressions, aim to create a visual language that invites viewers into a world that is both playful and unsettling, joy and unease. Recurring themes include distorted emotions, dreamlike imagery, and a soft sense of irony. While some pieces lean towards a psychedelic aesthetic, others draw on theatrical exaggeration to explore the layered complexities of human emotion and perception.
